- $599 will cover 2 surgeries, 2 days hospitalization and medications. This is not a lot in US dollars compared to our medical costs, but in Kenya, at $3 per day average wage, it would take 200 days earnings. That is why I have set up this facebook page, to appeal for donations for her surgeries.
- Pastor Josephine has had to slow down caring for 27 orphans at the Breath of Heaven Children's Home. She has been having worsening abdominal pains. After an examination by a medical doctor, she was diagnosed with a shoulder growth due to a previous injury. More alarming, she has multiple masses in her uterus, which the doctor called fibroids. While not indicating cancer, they are causing her to have frequent headaches and fatigue. If allowed to grow, they will become incapacitating.
